My background

’m Flor, a multimedia journalist and visual storyteller focused on social justice. Born in Belgium and raised in Brazil, I spent my childhood moving with my nomadic family through the Amazon rivers and along the coast, an experience that continues to shape my understanding of place, memory, and community.

I’m interested in amplifying underrepresented voices and creating space for stories often overlooked by mainstream media. After studying Multimedia Journalism and Communication at the European Communication School, I completed a Master’s in Social Justice Journalism at the University of the Arts London, where I developed a practice grounded in critical, community-led storytelling.

My work blends journalism with creativity. I specialise in short-form video, breaking down politics, culture, and internet trends into accessible, engaging content for younger audiences. Alongside this, I work with photography, video editing, and magazine design.

I’m always curious about new places, cultures, and perspectives, and I try to bring that curiosity into everything I do. If you’re up for collaborating, sharing your story, or just chatting about life and this crazy-about-to-explode-but-beautifully-chaotic world, drop me a line.
